Decided to throw my hat into the Fembruary Painting Challenge, on Leap Day! Here’s the the link to the original post over on Leadballoony:

I didn’t have any unpainted female mini’s in process, then I started to clean-up up my crafting area on a rainy Saturday afternoon, and I found the last miniature I had purchased for Malifaux – Miss Step! She is the Alternative sculpt for Howard Langston, a half-human, half-machine cyborg!
So six days ago she was a pile of plastic parts. She’s fairly straight forward in terms of painting. The wife decided her bodice would be purple, and I wanted pale, pale skin. Tried to get the bits of skin that met with the augmented bits to look a little inflamed.

While the washes dried, and I fretted over her hair (which I end-ed up leaving blonde), I searched Thingiverse for basing ideas. Orgianlly, I was going to base her on a pile of gears, but with the move from Malifaux 2.5 to 3.0, she has move factions, and will not fit with the group she was originally purchased to augment. I took a couple bits from this: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2437047, and printed off some crumbling walls.
Mixing together some polymer clay and using an older 3D printed cobble-stone textured roller, a quick street base insert was fashioned. I like the pose, the figure and the paint job, however, in person the whole thing comes off a tad monochromatic.
She’s twisted man. Love it

Thanks Pat! I may add some flock to look like moss or ivy to the broken walls, but I very well may call it done!

Good work. I haven’t played much M3E yet so I haven’t faced her but in M2E Miss Step was the bane of my life. I can’t even begin to count how many of my hapless minions she killed off with those big snippy claws.

Sadly, I never really got much ME2 play in and zero ME3.
